British Selvedge Denim Work Apron

£80.00

Work Apron made from the same selvedge denim as our ED-1 jeans woven in Lancashire by Hewitt Heritage Mills. Pockets are reinforced with the same 100% copper Universal brand rivets.

The design was based around a vintage 50’s apron from the collection of Lex at Field Denim Workshop. The sides utilise the selvedge line of the fabric instead of sewn seams and then the top corner under the arms are reinforced with some clever folding. The top pocket design was also taken from the 50’s example, made big enough for the biggest smart phones, the pocket swings forward to avoid your phone slipping into whatever it is your working on.

The front pocket is a large hand warmer style pocket which can be used to store any tools that you are working with and this is reinforced with rivets as well.

The back straps are made in a design created by Lex himself, he used a long belt loop with bar tacks at several stages to loop the straps through as a cross back style which then loops through the apron and can be tied at the front or the back. This helps to adjust for sizing for the apron.
